    Biography

    Professor Raschke is the director of Classical Studies at UCR. She is also the faculty Advisor for Comparative Ancient Civilizations and a recipient of the Distinguished Teaching Award. She teaches courses at all levels in Greek and Roman literature, language, and culture. She also actively participates in the Comparative Civilization program, teaching a course on Foundational Concepts with Professor Karl Taube in the Department of Anthropology. Her publications include a book on the archaeology of the Olympics, as well as major articles in Lucilius and Roman Satire in the Journal of Roman Studies, Hermes, and Latomus.

    Latin Literature, especially Satire; Archaic and Classical Greek Art in its social context.
